HTML Help Compiler Stops Working

description

When trying to build a .chm file I get an error that the HTML Help Compiler has stopped working. This happens with the vs2005 and hana templetes. It does not happen with the Prototype templete. The problem with the Prototype template output is that none of the graphics are displayed. It just displays an X where the graphic would be.

The error may occur due to file paths that contain ".h", or maybe even a period near some other sequence of characters that the HTML Help Workshop compiler treats as being special.

The prototype issue is probably caused by the HTML Help Workshop compiler not finding the images. Are there any warnings in the output about missing files or non-matched includes? Right-mouse click an 'X' and select Properties. Note the relative path. Are the images located in the same path relative to the .hhc file?
