Tip: DocTools for Conceptual Contents

Oct 18, 2008 at 6:12 AM
Hello All,
I have being testing the DocTools program to see how best to integrate the Sandcastle goodies.
The DocTools is a Word 2007-based conceptual documentation system used by the patterns and practices team at Microsoft, and may be useful to those interested in WYSIWYG type of authoring tool.

Let me know if you are interested, or finds it useful.

Paul, did you ever find out how to integrate DocTools and Sandcastle together?

Hello Lucas,
Not yet, there seems to be no interest - since I did not receive any feedback so the priority now is low.

Hello Stefan,
Thanks for the information/feedback.
By my schedule, I will complete my current Sandcastle Assist projects by March,
and will take on this and other projects.

Hello All,
For those interested in the DocTools, there is a new article demonstration how to integrate
the output into Sandcastle Reference/API documentations.

The article uses DocProject, but I think you should be able to use any other tool.

Best regards,
